Kyra minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965) is an American actress. She is most famous for her part as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded the Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The show ended on August 13, 2012, following the completion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for a Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born On the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The actress also appeared in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who worked as an therapist for speech and family, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV, a venture capitalist. Her birthplace was in New York City. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has openly declared her Jewish heritage and has said she is a part of Passover seders.
