Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She was secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a CNN political contributor between 2017 and 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001 when she worked for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki later served as the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. The 11th of February 2013 Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation that Psaki was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she remained there until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
